UPDATE: A Toys”R”Us representative has reached out to let us know that stores will not, in fact, be hosting a midnight launch for the SNES Classic Edition and the tweet they sent out earlier was in error. Please disregard the information in the tweet below.
For the many of you who struck out on the SNES Classic Edition pre-orders online, the good folks at Toys”R”Us have confirmed via Twitter that the stores will having midnight openings for the SNES Classic on the evening of Thursday, September 28th.
It will be released at midnight with a limit of 1 per customer! More details as we get closer!

No confirmation on whether or not all stores will be participating yet, but the company does confirm that more details will be coming soon. Stay tuned!
