Fun fact: Croagunk is the only fighter in Pokkén I’ve never used. Recent events have let me try Decidueye, while in Japanese arcades I got my hands on Darkrai, Scizor and Empoleon, but somehow I never took the time to give Croagunk a go. The wait won’t be much longer, with another trailer dropping that puts the toxic frog front and center.
Croagunk may have some of the most personality out of any of the Pokémon in game. With plenty of comical animations, surprising tricks and even more surprising power at its disposal it’s a surprisingly good fit even over Toxicroak. You’ll be able to give the fighting pride of Pastoria City’s Poison Jab a try when Pokkén Tournament DX releases on September 22nd.
