We’re only about a month away from the release of Pokémon Gold and Silver in the 3DS eShop, and with the huge success of last year’s re-release of Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow, it appears that the Pokémon Company is pulling out all the stops for this one.

Earlier today, we reported that Europe would be receiving a special boxed edition of both titles, which includes a special edition box and a download code for the titles. It now looks as though Japan is taking it a step further with a boxed release chock-full of goodies, including a manual, stickers, a magnet shaped like a Game Boy cartridge and a poster.

The boxed editions of the games will retail for the low price of 1,500 yen (roughly $14) — only a small markup from the digital price. Sadly, there’s no word yet on a physical release of these titles coming to North America, but stay tuned for more info as soon as it becomes available.

What do you think? Do you want a physical release of these titles?
