The final months of 2017 may have more than a few new releases from Nintendo, but those wanting a little nostalgia are also in luck, with Pokémon Gold & Silver arriving on the 3DS eShop the same day Pokkén Tournament DX hits the Switch. The two games will feature Poké Bank support, much like the re-releases of Pokémon Red, Blue & Yellow last year.
If you want even more nostalgia, though, Nintendo of Europe has you covered. Both games will receive a boxed release, although sadly the box will only include a download code and seemingly no other extras. Still, with the left-oriented Nintendo 3DS logo and what looks to be a recreation of the original shiny box treatment, it’s still a treat for retro fans.
