Sonic Mania will finally be out tomorrow — you can see how much I enjoyed it in my review of it right here. To mark the release, Sega’s uploaded a brand new launch trailer. It takes plenty from the recently revealed opening animation, and there’s also some new gameplay you can spot, too.
Lava Reef Zone from Sonic & Knuckles made the cut — you’ll see that Sonic CD’s Stardust Speedway is heading back to the future with a look at its second act. Talking about brand new, you’ll also get the first official look at Press Garden Zone, and it doesn’t disappoint in-game either. You’ll get a peek at the Studiopolis Zone’s boss fight and an encounter with another member of the Hardboiled Heavies, this one taking inspiration from a ninja. Rest assured, there’s still plenty to see past what’s been revealed in this and the other trailers, and with release a day away you won’t have to take my word for it for much longer.
