Tech community and shop iFixit added the New 2DS XL to its teardown video list. Like with all new devices, those behind iFixit love to get into the nitty gritty of phones, video game systems and more for the people who always want to see what it looks like on the inside, and for anyone who wants to know what to look for when DIY-ing the repair.
In addition to that teardown, iFixit rated it on a scale of 1 to 10 on how easy it is to repair the system. Let’s just say swapping out the battery is the easiest thing to fix. The rest? Not so much.
