Super Mario Odyssey is certainly charming us with every new revealed transformation. While this “Fireball Mario” of sorts was spotted during the game’s E3 trailer, we didn’t have an idea as to what abilities Mario would get with this latest transformation. Thanks to the official Super Mario Odyssey Twitter account, we have high resolution key art — and a GIF, too! Play as “Fireball Mario” and you can swim through pink, goopy lava. Shake the Joy-Cons and you’re given the ability to quickly jump and skip through this rather odd goo.

Now to wait and see if you can take out enemies as “Fireball Mario” — or would that be a bit too meta?
