It’s pretty common for RPGs to start with amnesia and end with some grand final boss encounter, right? Well thanks to the newly announced title The Longest Five Minutes, that formula is changing up just a bit. Now you start at that final encounter, and the entire game is shaped by you flashing back to remember just how you got that far. People, places, skills and more will all need to be recalled in order to be sufficiently ready to handle the encounter.

It all sounds promising and exciting, aware of what it is and able to present it in a new and interesting way. The official site is live now and full of more in depth info for main character Flash Back and his mental adventure. All of that is wrapped up in a cute retro exterior, and I’m excited for this one to come to Switch in 2018. You can even order its limited edition from the official NISA online store to grab a soundtrack, pins and artbook as well. Don’t let this one fade into memory.
