The era of badge collecting is set to come to an end, as Nintendo of America has announced a death date for the continuous release of new badges for the North American Nintendo Badge Arcade.
The news comes via Twitter, through an “important message” from the Arcade Bunny himself.
Arcade Bunny here! It looks like we've hit our capacity for badges here in the Arcade, so 6/22 marks the release of our last new badge sets! pic.twitter.com/7NKYbfDVnw

The announcement follows a similar one regarding the Japanese Badge Arcade, which ended badge releases in May, and the European Badge Arcade, which is set to end them on June 23rd.
The North American Badge Arcade launched in November 2015, and has since seen hundreds of badges released themed after nearly 60 games and franchises.
The North American Badge Arcade will end updates on Thursday, June 22nd.
