Recently, video game publisher Natsume has been working through the localization of games in the Kunio-Kun/River City franchise. Following last year’s River City: Tokyo Rumble, the company is set to tackle something a bit more fantastical for the Nintendo 3DS in the near future.

River City: Knights of Justice, released in 2014 as Nekketsu Mahou Monogatari in Japan, transplants the standard formula into a fantasy world of knights and magic. You can watch some gameplay of the Japanese release below, to get a better idea of how it plays:

The game will launch digitally in North America and Europe this summer and it will be playable at Natsume’s E3 booth. We’ll be sure to bring a specific release date once it is announced.
