This year’s E3 is going to be different, to the tune of having 15,000 fans roaming the Los Angeles Convention Center. When the announcement about the convention being open to the public in that capacity first hit the community, one of the many questions that was asked was: “When will the tickets be sold out?” If you thought they’d be gone with 24 hours of going live (akin to the crazy ticket sales for San Diego Comic Con), then you’d be wrong. It actually took months — only 28 days before the event begins — for those running E3 to officially comment on ending the sale.

If you held off on getting a ticket — sorry! There’s always next year, unless the program is shuttered based on its performance. But who knows? Maybe they’ll be even more tickets available next year.

Did you snag one of these passes? What do you want to check out on the showroom floor?
