Even though by all counts the Wii U is winding down, it’s still getting some attention in the digital space. Several classic Turbografx-16 titles have been slowly but surely making their way to the system’s Virtual Console, and tomorrow in North America will see one of the most iconic – 1991’s Bonk’s Revenge.

The second game in the relatively short-lived franchise to star the titular pre-historic caveman with a massive cranium, Bonk’s Revenge has the hero venturing on a quest to recover half of the moon, after it was stolen by the evil King Drool III. What sets the Bonk games apart from other side scrolling platformers of the era is the moveset – you can ground pound, hover and even grab onto certain surfaces to climb.

You’ll be able to bash through blocks as Bonk on Wii U tomorrow for $5.99.
