The official Japanese ARMS Twitter account sent out a nice stream of behind the scenes sketches featuring characters from the game. Drawn by artists from the development team, we get a very raw and personal look at Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Helix, Min Min, Mechanica and Ninjara. Even without their usual pops of vibrant colors and detailing, each character carries an undeniable unique personality while appearing in a barebones fashion.
Needless to say, it’s easy to see why the popularity for the whole group of characters is growing. Each and every one carries a sense of charm that’s difficult to come by in games in the fighting genre. If we can sit back in wonder over these completely unadorned characters right now, this early on, you better believe that we’re counting down the days until we get to know them firsthand while throwing punches in-game.
