A new trailer and website update have given some insight to the upcoming strategy card game Culdcept Revolt. While we’ve known the game exists as a hybrid TCG-board game sort of style, not much has been revealed about its world and characters ’til now.
The plot concerns a walled off city where a ruthless count has those able to wield the magical cards at the heart of the series executed. Some of these individuals — known as Cepters — have started up rebel factions to rise against the tyranny. You’ll be playing as one of these characters, an amnesiac young man named Allen.
