Finally! The Rock comes back in a Pikachu costume

Dwayne Johnson has been a busy guy. Having a new entry in the Fast and the Furious franchise released and being one of the stars of Disney’s Moana are two things he can add to his never ending list of awesomeness — and now you can go ahead and add sharing some quality family time on Easter to that same list.

You’re probably wondering why we’re talking about this on a website dedicated to Nintendo.

Well…

The Rock defies expectations and provides entertainment even on a Sunday, and he does it while dressed as the world’s most popular Pokémon. It turns out his young daughter is a huge fan of Pikachu, leading the superstar to don a costume and spend the holiday being a dad. It looks like he was finally able to show that he really is “the most electrifying man in sports entertainment,” and all it took was learning the Pika’s Elbow.

 

The first time Jasmine's favorite character, Pikachu came to visit her months ago she was only crawling. For Easter Sunday @laurenhashianofficial and I thought, Pikachu should make a special visit once again. Well, Pikachu didn't account for the fact that now Jazzy RUNS and for 2hrs straight she wants to play her new favorite game, "I run away and you chase me Pikachu. And you're not allowed to take a break until I go night night". At the end of the vid you can hear her yell, "Peekyu" because she can't say, Pikachu. I'm tired, today's my only day off, it's 118 degrees in this costume and Hobbs keep trying to p*ss on my leg. And I luv every minute of it. Bring it on. It's what daddy's do.
