Fire Emblem Echoes lets you summon female Corrin, resulting in amiibo speculation | Nintendo Wire

Despite its Japanese release being a few weeks away, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia has leaked online. As a result, various data miners are pulling out images and assets, with one in particular standing out – Female Corrin.

Female Corrin can be brought into the game as an Illusory Hero to help out in battles. This is particularly noteworthy since only characters with a corresponding amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. (specifically Fire Emblem characters) line have been included in the game for summoning. While a male Corrin figure has previously been announced, a female variant has not.

As a result many are speculating this could mean a female Corrin amiibo is on the way. We’ll just have to wait and see what Nintendo announces.

Fire Emblem Echoes releases in Japan on April 20th and in Europe and North America on May 19th.

Always excited to see something a little bit different, Tom is ready to report on games of all shapes and sizes, whether they be wonderful or weird (or, better yet, both.) Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.

This likely means we’ll get both Male and Female variants of Corrin. That’s probably what mystery amiibo #4 is from the safety certificates.
