Video game movies have always been tricky, but Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph managed to tackle the subject matter well. By telling an original story with some classic gaming faces appearing in brief cameos, it was enjoyable and I definitely spent some time trying to spot references I may I have missed. While it’s been known to have a sequel for some time now, the follow up now has an official title – Ralph Breaks the Internet.
The sequel will come to theaters March 9th, 2018, or a little less than a year from now. The core cast of the first film will be back, and while we don’t yet know if Bowser and his particularly detailed coffee drinking will make a return, the idea of featuring Mario himself has been fielded in the past.
With the scope going beyond the arcade, the range of game cameo possibilities is a lot more open and varied. Have anyone you’d like to see make an appearance? Let us know below!
