Cupid’s arrow strikes the Badge Arcade this week, featuring Nintendo inspired treats and candied sweets. Exclusive Ashley and Nikki Valentine sets lead the charge, joined by adorable Monster Hunter Felynes, realistic Tomodachi life chocolates, life-giving Zelda hearts, and lovestruck Animal Crossing villagers. Also, a slew of Rhythm Heaven badges pick up the slack for anyone finding the holiday a little too corporate, though it seems like a missed opportunity for some new Love Rap badges, if you ask me. These exclusive sets likely won’t reappear for another year, so be sure to make them your Valentine before the week’s up!

Beefcake Bunny is… disturbing. But seriously (and I’ve already given this away in a previous comment) I can’t invest in this game beyond the Mega Man badges. I hop on daily hoping for a free play, then I use the practice catcher to hopefully earn another, and either way… I’m done. The microtransactions thing doesn’t work for me. If they’d just let me pay $15 one time and get 20 plays a day, every day, I’d happily fork out the cash for the “lifetime subscription” but I can’t let them nickel and dime me to death. After all five days of buying Badge Arcade plays could get me a game download in eShop or PSN. Not worth it viewed in those terms.
