After more than a year since Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King was first revealed to be coming to 3DS, the title is now finally available for purchase. Nintendo has dropped a new trailer today, as well, that introduces us to some of the game’s cast and offers a glimpse into its vast, colorful world.
One of the most awarded JRPGs from the PlayStation 2 era, Journey of the Cursed King follows a transmuted troll king and his daughter on a quest to restore themselves and their kingdom to its former glory. They’re joined on their adventure by a lone hero, a loyal castle guard, and eventually a full cast of lively and lovable characters designed by legendary artist Akira Toriyama.
