Super Mario Run is just a few days away, and with the upcoming release, the app has been gaining a lot of positive hype. People seem really excited by Nintendo’s move to mobile, and with the company’s first true game coming to mobile phones comes a lot of news surrounding the generally traditional game company.

Shigeru Miyamoto recently appeared in an interview with TV personality Katie Linendoll to discuss the making of the application and to talk about the fun and inspiration surrounding it. And now, for those who missed it, the interview is available for free on iTunes! It can be downloaded as both a podcast and a video, and lasts for a total of 41 minutes.

While we’ve heard quite a bit through interviews about the app already, it’s always fun hearing the creator of something talk about it directly. Miyamoto is clearly excited about the upcoming launch, just as the rest of us are, so go ahead and download the interview (seriously, it’s free) to get ready for December 15th!

And if you just can’t wait for that download to complete, you can always watch the interview in the YouTube video below.
