Select My Nintendo members have started to receive invitations to get their hands on the Nintendo Switch early. The emails being sent out, like the one seen below from Twitter user @ER_NoTR, indicate that an additional email will be sent out that will give the member the opportunity to reserve a spot for the event.

No details yet as to when or where the event will take place, but interestingly enough several people we have seen receive the email are located in New York. It’s fair to assume the event will take place at Nintendo’s flagship store, Nintendo New York.
