After the NES Classic Edition took the US by storm a couple of weeks ago many were left wondering when Nintendo and retailers would restock the incredibly popular product. Recent news makes it sound like it’ll be happening in time for the Christmas rush, with the first store to confirm a nationwide restock being Toys “R” Us for December 4th.

Here’s what one of the store’s spokeswomen told CNBC:

“On Sunday, we’re launching our Great Big Christmas Sale (Dec. 4 thru 10) and the catalog, which is arriving in homes in the coming days, features Hatchimals and NES. Our stores are receiving shipments of both holiday must-haves to support and we expect that when stores open at 8 a.m., they will sell very quickly.”

So if you’re in the US and want to pick up a NES Classic Edition be sure to head over to Toys “R” Us this Sunday! We’ll let you know if any other stores announce similar plans soon.
