The director of Deadpool will be the executive producer of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog film. Tim Miller, who recently walked away from Deadpool’s sequel, will work alongside Jeff Fowler, who will be directing the project. The movie will also employ Neal Moritz as producer, known for working on Fast and the Furious. Hopefully he brings some Super Sonic speed to the project.
The Sonic movie will be a combination of live action and animation, leaving fans to speculate what will be included in the story. We can only hope that Princess Elise, played by Anne Hathaway, will appear in the movie after an absence that’s gone on far too long.
The Sonic the Hedgehog film is set to release in 2018.
