The past week has seen a few news updates regarding the next project from FuRyu, the developers of The Legend of Legacy. Titled The Alliance Alive, the upcoming 3DS game seems to be a spiritual successor of sorts to last year’s JRPG, with a few changes that stand out, like an explorable overworld map and shifting protagonist perspectives.

Now the game is officially announced in full we have our first trailer. Check it out:

We’ll just have to wait and see how The Alliance Alive shakes out as we approach its Spring 2017 launch in Japan.
