Upcoming Nintendo Figmas shown off at New York Comic Con | Nintendo Wire

One of the biggest conventions of the year is finally under way in New York – Comic Con! As is usual for the event there’s plenty of merchandise on show, including the next range of Nintendo-themed Figmas.

First up we have Samus in her Metroid Prime 3 suit. The last Samus Figma was based on her Other M appearance, which was pretty sleek and accurate to the game, but Metroid fans will know and love the gigantic shoulder pads she wore in the Prime series and, thankfully, they’re present and correct in this new figure.

We also have a closer look at the two Twilight Princess Figmas – Link and Zelda. The fierce duo will be available in Japan from May 2017, and while we recently got a huge gallery of images, it’s nice to see the figures stand tall in a more natural environment.

Nintendo merchandise seems to be getting even more common lately, especially from Figma and Nendoroid maker GoodSmile, so we’ll be sure to let you know as and when more cool figures are announced!

Always excited to see something a little bit different, Tom is ready to report on games of all shapes and sizes, whether they be wonderful or weird (or, better yet, both.) Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
