Just one week ago, Famitsu featured an article announcing the release of Puyo Puyo Chronicle, a puzzle RPG for the 3DS in celebration of the series’ 25th anniversary. With the game’s Japanese launch day, December 8th, coming up rather quickly, we’re starting to get more information about what to expect from the new title.
YouTube channel Nintendo Town has given us a peek at roughly seven minutes of gameplay. In it, we see players have their character embark on an adventure by battling enemies by solving cute puzzle games while exploring the vast landscapes around them. Despite the video including Japanese gameplay text and language, it’s easy to see that the newest Puyo game is going to be a very sweet addition to the series. Have a look below!
