The wait is almost over, Ace Attorney fans! It has been announced that the continuation of Phoenix Wright’s story, Spirit of Justice, will be hitting the 3DS eShop in North America and Europe on September 8. It will cost $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99.

That’s not all either, as Capcom will also be releasing a demo of the game a little bit earlier on August 25. Featuring a section from the first courtroom scenario of the game, the demo will introduce players to the brand new Divination Séance, where the final events of a victim’s life are shown and Phoenix has to compare it to the testimonies to uncover the truth.

It is also announced that the game will bring back crime scene investigation tools courtesy of Ema Skye, with players dusting for prints and matching them up with likely suspects. The ability to view video evidence will also make a comeback, but here’s hoping it’s a bit less frustrating than Apollo Justice’s seemingly endless loop of “The Guitar’s Serenade”. Other characters will also have their own unique skills, from Phoenix’s magatama to Apollo’s “Perceive”, which you can check out in the trailer below:

More details have also been released regarding another case in Spirit of Justice, where Phoenix Wright’s adopted daughter Trucy gets caught up in a murder investigation after an incident during one of her magic shows. Apollo Justice, who seems to be handling cases on the homefront while Phoenix is in the Khura’in Kingdom, is helped by one of her co-stars, Bonny de Famme, to uncover the truth.

So Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice will be launching on September 8th. Be sure to get your pointer finger ready!
