An official Australian classification page for Mario Party Star Rush has revealed that Nd Cube, which had been involved with development of previous games in the series, is indeed working on the upcoming title.

A fact sheet released during E3 this year indicated the company would not be undertaking the game’s development, sparking collective sighs of relief from parts of the fan community disappointed with the direction the franchise has taken under Nd Cube.

Nd Cube was the developer for Mario Party 9, Mario Party 10 and Mario Party: Island Tour, having inherited the role from original series developer Hudson Soft.

Mario Party Star Rush is set to be released in North America on November 4th, with European and Australian launches on October 7th and 8th, respectively.
