It’s been a long time coming, over a week in fact, but Pokémon GO has finally launched in the United Kingdom on iOS and Android!

Many more countries are eagerly anticipating the app’s launch, including the majority of Europe, but it seems like Niantic is staggering the game’s release across territories to avoid server troubles. Interestingly, Pokémon’s home country of Japan has yet to experience the app, despite potentially being one of its biggest markets.

We’ll be sure to bring you more Pokémon GO news as it happens, but for now get to catching those critters, UK players!
