Just a day ahead of the launch of Splatoon’s brand new Callie and Marie amiibo, the deep sea divas have stolen the Super Mario Maker spotlight in a brand new event course.
A set of cephalopod-themed challenges has the Squid Sisters transforming from kid to squid and back again while collecting coins and dodging Bloopers. While not a particularly challenging or inventive course, the Callie and Marie Mystery Mushroom costumes are definitely worth a few minutes of your time. Or you could just scan those fresh amiibo when you reel them in tomorrow.
Between the gorgeous amiibo, this Super Mario Maker cameo, and the final Splatfest in a couple weeks starring these two, I think we can safely designate July the month of Callie and Marie.
