Nintendo of America took to Twitter this evening with some details about how amiibo will function within Metroid Prime: Federation Force.
At the moment, we know that scanning certain Mario Bros. amiibo will unlock new paint jobs for in game Mechs while playing Blast Ball. Scanning a Samus or Zero Suit Samus amiibo will provide a new paint job for your in-game suit, along with helpful in-game upgrades.
