In unexpected news, Nintendo of America has announced that three games from the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series — Red Rescue Team, Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Sky — will be available to purchase on the Wii U eShop this Thursday.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team were first released in 2006 for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS, respectively, with a focus on randomly changing dungeons and an emphasis on story and exploration.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, released in the U.S. in 2009 for the Nintendo DS, acted as an enhanced remake of its predecessors, Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, expanding their plot and adding a number of new features, Pokémon and dungeons.
All three games can be bought and downloaded this Thursday by accessing the Wii U Nintendo eShop.
