As one final surprise to close out the second day of Treehouse Live streaming, Nintendo has launched Rhythm Heaven Megamix onto the North American 3DS eShop out of the blue.

The game features a collection of old rhythm games from previous titles in franchise, as well as a few brand new challenges to test your skills. Thankfully this time around the tutorials are more clear on when you need to press the button or tap the screen, which should lessen frustrations somewhat.

There’s no word yet on whether or not Rhythm Heaven Megamix will get a physical release, but for now fans can pick up the game for $29.99 from the 3DS eShop. A demo is also available to download if you want to take the game for a spin first.
