Take note, Harvest Moon fans – ConcernedApe’s spiritual successor Stardew Valley is headed to the Wii U later this year.
The critically acclaimed title was also announced for PS4 and Xbox One. ConcernedApe will be working with Chucklefish and Sickhead Games on the port, and is expecting the game to be done in time for the winter holidays. ConcernedApe also expressed interest and excitement in using the Wii U’s second screen as a feature in his blog post.
Released this past January for PC, Stardew Valley is a farming simulation game in the vein of Harvest Moon. Players can farm crops, search mines, and woo local villagers in a peaceful and relaxing game. It released to massive critical and commercial success, quickly becoming one of the best selling and highest rated indie games on Steam in 2016.
