Now that XY – Fates Collide has been on shelves for over a month, the next expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game has been announced. XY – Steam Siege will bring the likes of Volcanion EX to the TCG, heating things up to blast away the competition. Alongside the marquee legendary we’ll be seeing six new EX cards, two Mega Evolutions, and eight dual-type Pokémon. Among these will be a Mega Gardevoir EX, covering all those bases and then some by being shiny as well!
For fans of the new Break mechanic there are going to be seven new cards to collect, too. Xerneas and Yveltal will both get the gold treatment, making sure that people remember there’s still an XY in the set name. Look forward to these and the other over 110 new cards coming when XY-Steam Siege launches on August 3rd!
