It’s that time of the month again, as the latest Mythical Pokémon is ready to be distributed for the month of June.
This month’s featured Pokémon is Manaphy, the legendary Water-type Pokémon from generation four. Manaphy is an aquatic Pokémon and is best known for its major appearance in the movie, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea.
Unlike the Darkrai GameStop distribution last month, Manaphy will be distributed via a Mystery Gift. Fans can download Manaphy as long as they have a copy of Pokémon X/Y or Pokémon Omega/Alpha Sapphire. To receive Manaphy, simply start your game up, navigate to the “Mystery Gift” tab, select “Receive Gift,” and finally, press “Get Via Internet.” If done properly, you’ll receive your very own Manaphy!
Like all the legendary Pokémon distributed over the past few months, Manaphy comes in at level 100 and features three different attacks: Tail Glow, Water Sport and Bubble. Tail Glow will raise Manaphy’s special attack, Water Sport will reduce the power of Fire-type moves, and Bubble will hit for 40 power and have a 10% chance of lowering your opponent’s speed. Manaphy also features the Hydration ability, which will cure Manaphy of conditions if it’s raining each turn.
Fans can begin to download the Legendary Water-type Pokémon today and can continue to do so until June 24th!
