Nintendo has hinted to the fact that it might expand its business interests to include creating quality of life devices.

According to an article from Game Informer, the company’s articles of incorporation were amended to include two new additions: “Development, manufacturing and sale of medical devices and health devices” and “Development, manufacturing and sale of computer software.”

What this means is that Nintendo may be looking to explore markets other than gaming. Don’t worry though– that doesn’t mean Nintendo’s planning on dropping out of gaming! It could just be looking to expand its horizons. This isn’t a done deal yet, but the company is prepping shareholders for the possibility.

The new document will be up for ratification at the annual shareholders meeting on June 29th, 2016.
