Nintendo has released a notification within Miitomo detailing the app’s next update, due to hit sometime in the near future.
Most notable among the changes will be additional ways send friend requests, such as email. Currently, the only way to add friends in Miitomo is through existing social networking links or face-to-face (in person), so this update should make things easier for some users.
Here’s the full rundown on what to expect when the update hits:
- Send friend requests via e-mail and other methods, allowing you to connect with friends who aren’t linked to you via social media.
- Answer the same questions as others when viewing “all answers.”
- Edit a Miifoto before posting it as a comment.
- Speed optimizations for various processes.
