Reimaginings of the iconic intro to Super Smash Bros. Melee aren’t difficult to find, but nothing quite compares to this effort released by The Reanimation Station earlier today.
According to the video’s description, “Smash Bros. Melee Reanimated” is comprised of the work of over 30 different animators, who combined their talents to create “a tribute to one of the best fighting games of all time.”
The end result is a near-perfect recreation of the Melee intro using a number of varying animation styles (and well-known memes).
