The credits for Star Fox Zero have made their way online and we’re delighted to see that a message honoring the late Satoru Iwata has been included.
The message reads, “This game is dedicated to our wingman who fell in battle.” Rather than providing a generic dedication, the tribute manages to be both clever and touching by tying together the revered Nintendo icon and Star Fox jargon that fans from around the world can appreciate from the cherished franchises. A personal touch like this most definitely makes it feel as though the Nintendo community is coming together as a family through a well loved series– to both commemorate a person who made such an important impact on the community and celebrate the future of everything that’s to come.
