In case you missed it, The Pokémon Company announced a few days ago via its official website that Toys“R”Us locations across the country will be holding a special Pokémon themed event on April 2nd!
The events are categorized as “trade-and-collect” events, which we’re assuming means you’re free to bring in all your Pokémon cards (or other merchandise!) and trade with others attending. Attendees will also receive special promotional Meowth and Clefairy Pokémon TCG cards, and a Pokémon themed activity book. Lastly, anyone who attends will be able to enter for a chance to win “an awesome Pokémon plush” which we’re guessing is exclusive to the event!
This special event will run from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in your respective timezone, at any participating Toys“R”Us location. And as a final bonus, all Pokémon merchandise will be part of a buy one, get one 40% sale. The sale, however, will last all day, so get your fill while you can!
