UPDATE (3/26): A prototype of Red and Pikachu have been spotted at Anime Japan 2016. While the figure isn’t painted, it still looks absolutely amazing!
Also displayed was a promo for an all new figure. May and Mudkip are coming soon!

UPDATE (2/6): Concept art for the upcoming Pokémon Red figure has been revealed. The figure will also be coming with a Pikachu companion and will launch sometime in 2016.
An all new figure of Trainer Red has been teased online and set to be revealed at the upcoming Wonder Festival in Japan on February 7th. Wonder Festival is the world’s largest figure festival and features the work of figure powerhouses Max Factory and Good Smile Company, among others. Very little is known about the upcoming Trainer Red figure other than the image teased below.
