UPDATE (3/23): The Official Pokémon Channel has shared an all new video illustrating the creation of the monster Pikachu Pokémon card that was composed of 12,987 individual Trading Card Game cards. The company set out to capture the largest mosaic made of trading cards– and it most definitely looks like that goal was met! Check out the amazing project come together, piece by piece, in the video below.


The Pokémon Company has always been known for its big ideas, but this one takes the Poké Puff. British artist Quentin Devine was commissioned by The Pokémon Company to create the impossible in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise: a 32 foot tall, 23 foot wide, Pikachu card from the Pokémon Trading Card Game! Comprised of 12,987 individual cards, this massive Pocket Monster sets a world record for its size and scope.
