Nintendo’s entry into the smartphone world was first announced all the way back in October of last year during the company’s investors meeting, and we’ve eagerly been waiting for the app to arrive since then. Well, the time has come! Miitomo has officially launched in Japan on iOS and Google Play.
Although a link that leads directly to the iTunes page has been provided on Twitter, U.S. Nintendo fans don’t have access to Miitomo quite yet since a Japanese account is needed to access the store. Worry not though! We’ll be keeping you up-to-date with info about this new venture as it’s released outside of Japan, and hopefully we’ll get wind of a North American release soon. Stay tuned!
