During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that new updates were in the works for Splatoon.
Starting March 8th, Splatoon fans will be able to download a free new update, which will balance and improve some gear abilities, adjust ranked battle matchmaking, and enhance Splatfest elements.
Down the road, fans can look forward to a two part update. These updates are tailored more towards weapons and will add new weapons to the game. These new weapons will include the Wasabi Splattershot, the Berry Splatter Shot Pro, and finally, the Fresh Squiffer. The updates will also improve certain existing weapons and enhance the weapon recommendation sets.
The first of the two part weapon update will be available for download sometime in April. More information about all Splatoon updates will be released on Nintendo’s official Splatoon website. Stay tuned!
