During today’s Nintendo Direct we got our first look at the next entry in Capcom’s immensely popular Monster Hunter series, subtitled Generations. It will be released later this year in Summer 2016 for North America.

The game was originally launched last year in Japan as Monster Hunter X (pronounced Cross), and was planned by developers to be a merging of both new and old Monster Hunter elements. Players can set out from four different villages and all fourteen weapon types from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate make a return.

To celebrate the announcement, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is available on the 3DS eShop for $19.99 for 48 hours. Players with data from this game on their 3DS will be given some bonus content in Generations, so if you’re interested be sure to take a look!

Monster Hunter Generations will also be getting a collaboration with Fire Emblem in the form of a Marth costume! Take a look:
