Continuing with the 20th anniversary celebrations, the Pokémon Company has made the Legendary Pokémon Celebi available for download today.
Last month, GameStop and many other game retailers distributed a level 100 Mew to Pokémon fans who picked up a download code. Unlike last month’s distribution, this month’s free Pokémon won’t require fans to go to their nearest participating retailer.
Celebi can be downloaded as a Mystery Gift and is compatible with both Pokémon X/Y and Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. Celebi is level 100 and comes packed with the ability Natural Cure. Its moves include Confusion, Recover, Heal Bell and Safeguard. Simply load your game and go to the ‘Mystery Gift’ tab. Choose ‘Receive Gift’ and then ‘Get Via Internet’. Doing so will grant you your very own Celebi!
Celebi is available for download now and will remain so until March 24th. April’s Mythical Pokémon event will feature Jirachi, followed by Darkrai in May.
