The Pokémon celebrations can’t be stopped, as Nintendo and GameStop have declared February 27th Pokémon Day! While the main attraction will be the eShop release of Red, Blue and Yellow Versions, other products will be discounted the whole day through. Most notable are the exclusive Mew figure and the New 3DS XL, and the fact that any Pokémon purchases made the day of will come along with a double-sided poster.


For those anticipating the fast-coming release of Pokkén Tournament, eight cities will hold early access tournaments! Sign ups will start at 10:00 a.m. for two divisions, with 32 participants allowed in each. At 11:00 a.m., the ages 14+ tournament will begin, followed by a 13 and under event at 2:30 PM. Winners from each event and division will then be flown to New York with a guest to participate in the March 17th for the grand finals event. This is an opportunity you won’t want to miss!
