A tweet from the official Nintendo of Japan twitter account announced earlier today that important maintenance was needed on Super Mario Maker.

The emergency updates are geared toward fixing glitches in the game’s create mode and will affect all online services during this time period. The maintenance is in full effect until Thursday evening here in the U.S. (Friday morning in Europe and Japan), so fans will have to wait patiently until then to play online.

Super Mario Maker is considered to be one of the best games in Wii U history. You can purchase it in the Nintendo eShop for $59.99.
