Just yesterday, Pokémon announced via its official website that the company will be opening a new Pokémon Center store in Kyoto, Japan! According to the website, the store will be opening in the Takashimiya Department Store located in Kyoto, rather than acting as a standalone store.
This store, unlike the Nintendo World Stores located in different areas of the world, will focus entirely on Pokémon and its franchise. The new Pokémon Center will have video games, TCG, and original products for sale.
Not too many details have been revealed about the store so far, but it has gotten an official logo, featuring Pikachu and Ho-Oh!
The store will be open on March 16th. No information yet on whether or not there will be any special promotions for the store’s opening, so stay tuned!
